There is such a lack of wisdom nowadays, and even common sense. A serious "disconnect" exists in a hi-tech age. People do not understand history, the world, the blessings of America, and the reality of the world.
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge;..." says the Lord in Hosea 4:6.
As an Nigerian told me, "We call America 'GOD'S OWN COUNTRY!'" But how many Americans even understand that truth - America's rich spiritual heritage and traditions - in today's culture? Too many here are not even aware of their own history, much less of how much the rest of the world looks up to America. We have been there -- with the people.
I have lived and worked in varying countries on 2 continents for years. Too many do not understand how blessed America is compared to other places, and - importantly- how much of a blessing it can be all over the world. Do not deprive yourself any longer of the opportunity to see the beauty of this world, along with the experience of discovering the truth and reality of this world.
"So let your light shine that others may see your good works, and glorify your Father in Heaven."
