Misson Update -- June 17, 2012

Father’s Day!!

It’s Father Day, as I spend my time writing many letter to my dearest friends and Paul using red highlighting the letters so people who are riding on Plymouth –Sorrento Rd, where we lived can see it.

Paul came up with this idea to raise mission funds and had to asked Debbie & Jim permission to do so.

He cut the plywood in half to make a sign “DONATE SCRAP Metal, old cars – Mission Fundraiser to Africa” with our phone number, in hope; we can earn money.   We have a neighbor who has a truck and does this as profession & agreed to spilt 50% profit to help us by picking the scrape such as stove, refrig, etc etc...

From Ace hardware store, twice Paul got a free quart of different color paint, Praise God and uses it to make the sign to have it posted on Reid Farm church property.  I painted the plywood beige and trimmed the edge light blue to have a nice look.

Yesterday, after Paul outlined the letters I painted it bold color green.  Paul highlighted most of the letters in red with a marker.  After writing this post, planning to give a second coat of greens to give a brighter boldest approached for the motorist to see the sign.

And we are going to sell “Lemonade, too; as we put up the sign we are going to sell fresh squeeze lemonade and lime juice tomorrow morning as people head toward Orlando.  This will be my first time making them, and hopefully, it is successful on a Monday.

Would you join us and pray for it to be successful and the phone start ringing in Jesus’ name?  Thanks!

God bless, Evelyn
